Patrick Moniz

President of the Board

 

Patrick is a founding member of The Hanai Hawaii Foundation and serves as the President of the Board. As a successful Native Hawaiian entrepreneur, Patrick is CEO of a national security business based in Washington, DC. He has spent two decades supporting the mission of the U.S. Government and Department of Defense in various locations, including South Asia, the Middle East and North Africa. Patrick graduated from Marymount Manhattan College and Kamehameha High School. He lives in DC with his wife and three children.

 

Kawika Moniz

Vice President and Secretary of the Board

 

Kawika is a founding member of The Hanai Hawaii Foundation and serves as Vice President and Secretary of the Board. Kawika left Hawaii at 18 to move to New York City, where he combined his local roots with a New York sensibility and grit. He values children and their role in the community, especially Native Hawaiian kids, who should be treated fairly and with the utmost respect. He lives in New York with his partner, two daughters, and many poi dogs.

 

Jack Foster

Treasurer of the Board

 

Jack is a founding member of The Hanai Hawaii Foundation and serves as Treasurer of the Board. Jack is Manager of Foster Federal, LLC, a majority-owned business by the Foundation. Jack has been a Project Manager and Partner at Dave Foster Builders, LLC, where he has led all general contracting and construction projects, including Federal contracts, based in Hawaii. Jack pursued a degree in Construction Management from Orange Coast College, where he played football, following his graduation from Mid-Pacific High School. He lives in Kakaako with his American Bully, Nala.
